you tell me to quiet down cause
my opinions make me less
beautiful
but i was not made with a fire
in my belly
so i could be put out
i was not made with a lightness
on my tongue
so i could be easy to swallow
i was made heavy
half bade and half silk
difficult to forget and not easy
for the mind to follow

Mountain Boudoir – Denver Boudoir Photography

Mountain boudoir for adventurous and empowered women is absolutely my jam. When A asked me to do her boudoir session in the mountains of Bailey, Colorado I was so stoked! Outdoor boudoir is one of my favorite things to photograph and I jumped at the opportunity to work with her. She climbed rocked, got in a freezing cold river, we got rained on, and it was all worth it because these images are gorgeous and so is she.

Fine Art Boudoir – We Find Moments

Fine art boudoir sessions have been my obsession lately and this session with Andrea did not disappoint. I absolutely love the soft feeling in these images. I wanted nothing more than to shoot around water with an empty beach but of course… being in Colorado it is fairly difficult to find but the reservoir did just fine. I think that a beach vacation needs to be in my future.

Boudoir in Denver – Grant Humphreys Mansion

This summer one of my favorite clients contacted me to do a boudoir session as a wedding gift to her now hubby. Boudoir sessions make fantastic wedding gifts and I loved getting to hear about how well it went over when she gifted him an album the night before their big day.  My wonderful friend Peggy over at Indie Six Salon did her hair and makeup for this shoot and we were lucky enough to have the session within the Grant Humphreys Mansion, which is one of my favorite places to photograph boudoir in Denver.

My gorgeous client, M, is a very into fitness and mans Instagram account @cofitsisters with her sister. M wanted a mixture of edgy sexy, fitness, and playful and I loved all of her outfits she brought with her! Especially her Chucks and tank top because they were so “her”! M’s husband races cars and we wanted to incorporate that somehow as an added surprise so she snagged his helmet and we did some shots with it as well. I love adding special pieces of who people are into their sessions, especially with boudoir. Boudoir sessions should be intimate and including personal items can be a special touch to make your session unique to who you are!

Awhile back I got together with my amazing & talented friend, Ashley, over at The Denver Boudoir Authority and we practiced our boudoir skills in a new space. We shot at the lovely Grant-Humphries Mansion that allows one of the best Denver boudoir photography experiences out there. We loved shooting in the multiple rooms around the mansion and the outside terrace and I can’t wait to get back there to shoot again.

For this part of the day Ashley & I worked with this gorgeous gal who kept it classy with beautiful, classic black lingerie. You can never go wrong with this kind of look, especially when you add in cute little accessories! If you are interested in booking a boudoir session, please contact me!
